BISMARCK - Bismarck Legacy defeated Mandan-St. Mary's 2-0, improving to 11-1 overall and 11-0 in the WDA, while Mandan-St. Mary's fell to 3-5-3.

The match remained scoreless at halftime, but Legacy broke through in the 64th minute when Owan Joyce scored with an assist from Uriel Rivera. This set the tone for the remainder of the game.

Kellan Okerson secured the victory with a goal in the 79th minute, again assisted by Rivera. Legacy's defense, led by goalkeeper James Erickson with seven saves, ensured the shutout.

Legacy clinched a state tournament berth with this win. They will next face Jamestown on September 23, while Mandan-St. Mary's will play Bismarck Century on the same day.
