Bismarck Legacy defeats Minot, 2-1

MINOT - Bismarck Legacy edged out Minot with a 2-1 victory, improving their record to 9-0 in the WDA and 9-1 overall. Minot stands at 5-3-1 in both WDA and overall play.
Kellen Okerson opened the scoring for Legacy in the 5th minute with an assist from Riley Ketterling. The Sabers maintained their lead through the first half.
Minot's Dylan Oswalt equalized in the 75th minute, assisted by Caleb Carr. However, Legacy's Uriel Rivera quickly responded with the game-winning goal just a minute later, assisted by Nolan Healy.
Legacy's next matchup is against Minot North, who are 6-2 in the WDA, while Minot will face Mandan-St. Mary's, who hold a 3-3 record, on September 16.
