BISMARCK - West Fargo Sheyenne rallied to defeat Bismarck Legacy 4-2 in a non-conference boys' soccer match on Saturday. The Mustangs improved to 2-0-1 overall, while the Sabers fell to 3-1-0.
Bismarck Legacy started strong, with Nolan Healy scoring unassisted in the 23rd minute. Eduard Abramcuic extended the lead to 2-0 just before halftime, assisted by Sam Goldade.
West Fargo Sheyenne's comeback began in the second half. Marcus Podliska scored in the 50th minute, followed by Logan Murch's equalizer in the 58th minute. Ervin Kasapovic put the Mustangs ahead in the 61st minute, and Murch added another goal in the 65th minute.
West Fargo Sheyenne will next face Bismarck Century on October 16, while Bismarck Legacy prepares to host Minot on August 26.
