MANDAN - Bismarck Legacy secured a 4-0 victory over Mandan-St. Mary's on Tuesday night, improving to 2-0 in the WDA and overall. Mandan-St. Mary's fell to 0-2.
Kellen Okerson opened the scoring for Legacy in the 18th minute with an unassisted goal. The team continued to dominate as Sammy Torres found the net in the 53rd minute, assisted by Riley Ketterling.
Owan Joyce was the standout in the second half, scoring two goals in quick succession during the 77th and 79th minutes, with assists from Okerson and Trenten Stafslien respectively. Legacy's defense held strong, with goalkeeper James Erickson making six saves.
Bismarck Legacy will face Jamestown (2-0) on August 21, while Mandan-St. Mary's will take on Bismarck Century (1-1) the same day.
