BISMARCK - Bismarck Legacy defeated Jamestown 2-0 on September 23, improving their record to 12-1 overall and 12-0 in the WDA. Jamestown's record fell to 5-6 overall and in the WDA.
Landon Herr led Legacy with two goals, scoring in the 19th and 71st minutes. His first goal was assisted by James-Matthew Guenther, and Eduard Abramciuc provided the assist for the second.
Legacy's defense was strong, with goalkeeper James Erickson making six saves to secure the team's eighth shutout of the season. Jamestown's Evan Harty made seven saves to keep the match competitive.
Jamestown will face Bismarck on September 25, while Legacy will take on Bismarck Century on the same day.
