MINOT - Minot High secured a decisive 5-0 victory over Dickinson, improving their record to 9-3-3 in the Western Dakota Association, while Dickinson fell to 1-13-1.
Dylan Oswalt was instrumental for Minot, netting a hat trick with goals in the 14th, 16th, and 26th minutes. His first two goals were assisted by Nolan Schmidt and Grayson Steele, respectively, while the third was unassisted.
Rylan Solper added to Minot's first-half dominance with an unassisted goal in the 29th minute. Ethan Hanson capped the scoring in the 70th minute, with Schmidt providing his second assist of the match.
Minot High will next face Williston on October 9, while Dickinson looks to rebound against Bismarck Century, who hold a 7-5 record, on the same day.
