The game remained scoreless until the 74th minute when Mamadou Sow found the back of the net for Williston, assisted by Luke Llewellyn. This decisive goal highlighted Williston's offensive persistence.

Williston's defense was anchored by goalkeeper Tristan Boots, who recorded three saves. Dickinson's Paxtyn Paulson was impressive in goal with 18 saves, showcasing strong defensive efforts despite the loss.
