DICKINSON - Jamestown edged out Dickinson 1-0 in a closely contested boys' soccer match on Thursday, improving their record to 4-5-1 overall and in the Western Dakota Association. Dickinson remains winless at 0-10-1.
The match remained scoreless through the first half, with both teams displaying strong defensive efforts. Jamestown's John Belzer broke the deadlock in the 67th minute, scoring the game's only goal with an assist from Miles Anderson.
Goalkeeper Evan Harty contributed to Jamestown's victory with a crucial save, while Dickinson's Paxtyn Paulson stood out with 10 saves, keeping his team in contention throughout the match.
