DICKINSON - Mandan-St. Mary's secured a 3-2 victory over Dickinson, improving their record to 3-3-3, while Dickinson remains winless at 0-9-0.
The match remained scoreless through the first half, but Mandan-St. Mary's took charge in the second half. James Hoover opened the scoring in the 41st minute with an unassisted goal. Logan Hertz quickly followed with another unassisted goal in the 45th minute, giving Mandan-St. Mary's a two-goal lead.
Zayden Koppy extended the lead to 3-0 with an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute. Dickinson responded with Marlon Harding-Smith scoring in the 66th minute, followed by Teytum Streeter in the 73rd minute, but the rally fell short.
Mandan-St. Mary's will face Minot (5-2) on September 16, while Dickinson will take on Bismarck (4-3) on the same day.
