MINOT - Bismarck Century secured a 3-1 victory over Minot North on September 30, improving their record to 5-5-3 in the Western Dakota Association. Minot North fell to 6-9-1 overall.
Century's offense was on display early, with Tegan Schlichenmayer opening the scoring in the 8th minute, assisted by Charlie Anderson. Just a minute later, Kyle Livesay doubled the lead with an unassisted goal.
Before the halftime whistle, Cale McEvers found the net in the 35th minute, assisted by Silas Kaldor, giving Century a commanding 3-0 lead. Minot North's Gavin Wald scored in the 52nd minute, but Century's defense held firm.
Century will face Jamestown (5-7) on October 2, while Minot North prepares to meet Mandan-St. Mary's (3-5) the same day.
