MANDAN - Minot and Bismarck Century played to a 1-1 draw in boys' soccer on Thursday night, with Minot moving to 6-3-2 overall and Century to 4-4-2.

Nolan Schmidt put Minot ahead in the 38th minute, capitalizing on an assist from Tayson Solper. Minot's defense, led by goalkeeper Ian Stewart with seven saves, held strong throughout the first half.

Century responded in the second half, with Jaxon Jahnke scoring the equalizer in the 68th minute, assisted by Charlies Anderson. Nicholas Schlinger contributed to Century's defensive effort with one save.

Both teams will look to build on this performance, with Minot facing Minot North (6-5 overall) and Century taking on Mandan-St. Mary's (3-4 overall) on September 23.
