JAMESTOWN - Jamestown secured a decisive 4-1 victory over Bismarck Century on September 9, improving their record to 3-5-1, while Century fell to 3-4-1.
Miles Anderson was instrumental for the Blue Jays, scoring two quick goals in the 12th and 14th minutes, with the second assisted by Abel Dolokelen. This early lead set the tone for Jamestown.
Century's Gaege Gangness found the net unassisted in the 40th minute, but Jamestown responded with goals from Damour Muturusta in the 54th minute and Peace Tumukunde, assisted by Grady Eckart, in the 79th minute.
Looking forward, Bismarck Century will face Williston on September 11, while Jamestown prepares to meet Dickinson on September 18.
