WILLISTON - Bismarck Century secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Williston, improving to 2-1-1 overall and in the Western Dakota Association.

Cale McEvers scored the decisive goal for Century in the 38th minute, capitalizing on an unassisted opportunity to give his team the lead.

Century's defense, anchored by goalkeeper Ethan Ziegler who made eight saves, held firm against Williston's attempts to equalize.

Century will look to continue their momentum against Dickinson on August 28, while Williston seeks their first win facing Minot, also on August 28.
