MINOT - Minot High defeated Bismarck Century 5-2 in a conference matchup, improving to 2-0 while Century fell to 1-1.

Century took an early lead with goals from Charlie Anderson and Teagan Schlichenmayer. Anderson scored in the 20th minute, and Schlichenmayer followed in the 25th minute, both unassisted.

Minot's Tayson Solper turned the game around in the second half, scoring three goals. Solper's first goal came in the 44th minute with an assist from Grayson Steele. He added two more in the 46th and 49th minutes, with Steele assisting again on the final goal.

Bismarck Century will face Mandan-St. Mary's (0-1) on August 21, while Minot will play Minot North (1-0 WDA, 1-2 overall) on the same day.
