BISMARCK - Bismarck Legacy defeated Bismarck High 6-2 in a conference matchup, improving to 14-0 in the WDA and 14-1 overall. Bismarck High fell to 5-6 in the WDA and overall.
Bismarck High started strong with early goals from Daniel Matthews, assisted by Camren Haase, and Mason Seefeld, who scored unassisted. However, Legacy quickly responded with Eduard Abramcuic scoring in the 6th minute, assisted by Uriel Rivera, and Kellan Okerson adding another in the 12th minute, also assisted by Rivera.
Legacy took control in the second half with four more goals. Okerson scored again in the 45th minute, assisted by Riley Ketterling. Ketterling then found the net in the 47th minute, assisted by Okerson. Rivera scored in the 50th minute, with Abramcuic assisting, and James-Matthew Guenther capped the scoring in the 62nd minute with an assist from Okerson.
Bismarck Legacy will face Dickinson (1-11) on October 2, while Bismarck High is set to play Minot (7-3) on the same day.
