BISMARCK - Bismarck High secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Jamestown, improving their record to 5-5-2, while Jamestown fell to 5-7-1.
The game remained scoreless until the 56th minute when Brennan Wald broke the deadlock with an unassisted goal, giving Bismarck the lead they would hold until the final whistle.
Defensively, Bismarck's Drew Haberlock stood out with four crucial saves, ensuring the shutout. Jamestown's Evan Harty also performed admirably in goal, recording two saves.
Bismarck will face Bismarck Legacy next on September 30, while Jamestown prepares to meet Bismarck Century on October 2.
