BISMARCK - Bismarck High rallied in the second half to secure a 3-2 victory over Minot High, improving their record to 4-3-1 in the Western Dakota Association. Minot High falls to 5-2-1.
Minot took an early lead with Grayson Steele scoring in the 15th minute, assisted by Matthew Wistisen. Bismarck responded after halftime with Camren Haase's unassisted goal in the 45th minute, leveling the score.
Liam Chathams gave Bismarck the lead in the 59th minute, assisted by Haase. Minot's Caleb Carr equalized in the 70th minute, but Haase quickly restored Bismarck's lead with his second goal in the 71st minute.
Bismarck High will face Minot North (5-2 WDA, 5-4 overall) on September 11, while Minot High prepares to meet Bismarck Legacy (8-0 WDA, 8-1 overall) on the same day.
