MANDAN - Mandan-St. Mary's edged out Bismarck High 1-0 in a tightly contested boys' soccer match, improving both teams' records to 2-2-1 overall and in the Western Dakota Association (WDA).
The match's decisive moment came in the 66th minute when Trevan Stute scored the lone goal with an assist from Axton Hoepfner. Bismarck's goalkeeper Drew Haberlock made five saves, keeping the game within reach.
Mandan-St. Mary's goalkeeper Tyler Moe was instrumental in the victory, recording eight saves to secure the shutout. The defensive efforts from both teams highlighted the match, with each side showing resilience.
