BELCOURT - St. John defeated TMCHS (Belcourt) 3-0 in a non-conference volleyball match on September 15. St. John improved to 1-0 overall, while TMCHS fell to 1-2.

TMCHS showed resilience, with Ireli Zerr leading the team with 9 kills. Maddison Patneaud contributed 5 kills and was a force at the net with 2 blocks. Akealyes Azure added 9 assists and 10 digs, showcasing her all-around skills.

Patneaud also excelled in serving, recording 6 aces. The match was closely contested, with two sets decided by three points or less, highlighting the competitive spirit of both teams.

TMCHS looks to bounce back in their next game against North Prairie on September 18, while St. John's next matchup is yet to be scheduled.
