WATFORD CITY - Watford City defeated Beulah 3-2 in a thrilling non-conference volleyball match, improving their record to 3-5, while Beulah moved to 0-1 overall.
Bailey Mattson led Watford City with an impressive 23 kills and added 14 digs and 9 service aces. Flynn Robinson contributed significantly with 24 assists and 6 digs. Amelia Wisness and Darbie Moberg each added 8 kills to the Wolves' offensive efforts.
Defensively, Frida Grijalva was a standout with 30 digs, helping to keep the Wolves in contention throughout the match. The team recorded a season-high 18 service aces, showcasing their strong serving game.
Watford City will next face Dickinson Trinity, who holds a 1-0 record, on September 30. Beulah will have a rematch against Watford City on October 30.
