MINOT - Minot High School secured a 3-1 victory over Williston in a conference volleyball match on October 14, improving their record to 16-10 overall and 10-3 in the WDA. Williston now stands at 3-23 overall and 0-13 in the WDA.

Minot's offensive efforts were led by Everette Deschamp, Kynsli Gillmore, and Brooke Bedell, each contributing 16 kills. Mackenzie Dufner orchestrated the attack with 47 assists, while also adding 4 service aces. Camdyn Varty anchored the defense with 39 digs.

Williston displayed strong performances from Tenasey Leisy with 6 kills and Abigale Ferlan who added 5 kills and 4 blocks. Rylee Irgens was notable on defense with 28 digs and 3 service aces.

Minot looks ahead to a matchup against Bismarck on October 21, while Williston will face Bismarck St. Mary's on the same date.
