BISMARCK - Minot High defeated Bismarck St. Mary's 3-1 in a WDA volleyball match, improving their record to 7-5 overall and 5-1 in the conference. St. Mary's fell to 2-10 overall and 1-5 in the WDA.

Kynsli Gillmore led Minot with 11 kills, while Eve Knutson added 10. Mackenzie Dufner contributed significantly with 39 assists and 14 digs, showcasing her all-around performance. Camdyn Varty anchored the defense with 32 digs.

For St. Mary's, Mataya Messer was a standout with 17 kills and 20 digs. Sophia Schlinger and Maggie Meyer each recorded 48 assists, facilitating the offense effectively. Sophia Link contributed 22 digs in a strong defensive effort.

Minot's next game is against Jamestown on September 23, while Bismarck St. Mary's will face Dickinson on the same day.
