MINOT - Minot High defeated Minot North 3-1 in a conference volleyball match, improving their record to 6-4 overall and 4-0 in the WDA. Minot North now stands at 5-6 overall and 1-4 in the WDA.

Kynsli Gillmore led Minot High with 17 kills and contributed defensively with 20 digs. Mackenzie Dufner orchestrated the offense with an impressive 46 assists, while also adding 13 digs and a service ace.

Minot North's McKinnley Kragh delivered 12 kills and 16 digs. Aven Kelly added 8 kills and led the team with 4 service aces. Defensively, Kate Weishaar was a standout with 22 digs.

Minot High remains unbeaten in WDA play and will face Bismarck next on September 16. Minot North will look to bounce back against Jamestown on the same day.
