MINOT - Minot North defeated Mandan 3-1 in a conference volleyball match on September 23, improving their record to 6-8 overall and 2-6 in the Western Dakota Association. Mandan now stands at 3-10 overall and 2-5 in the WDA.

McKinnley Kragh led Minot North with 15 kills, while Elli Laskowski added 14 kills. Aven Kelly contributed significantly with 9 kills and 2.5 blocks. Brynn Francis was pivotal with 38 assists and 17 digs, showcasing her all-around performance.

Mandan's efforts were highlighted by Aubrey Karsky and Allyson Holzer, each recording 8 kills. Gabriele Frohlich provided 19 assists and 9 digs, while Keya Condon added 15 assists and 3 service aces. Hadley Harris was active defensively with 18 digs.

Minot North will face Bismarck St. Mary's (1-5 WDA, 2-10 overall) on September 30, while Mandan will challenge Bismarck (4-3 WDA, 8-5 overall) on September 25.
