BISMARCK - Bismarck Legacy swept Bismarck St. Mary's 3-0 in a conference volleyball match on Thursday, improving to 17-12 overall and 11-6 in the WDA. St. Mary's fell to 4-25 overall and 2-15 in the WDA.
Legacy's Brooklyn Pudwill led the offensive charge with 12 kills, while Marlee Falcon added 10 kills. Bentley Solem was instrumental in setting up the attack, recording 36 assists. Pudwill also contributed defensively with 16 digs, showcasing her all-around play.
For St. Mary's, Mataya Messer was a standout performer with 19 kills and 17 digs. Maggie Meyer facilitated the offense with 19 assists, and Sophia Link anchored the defense with 19 digs. Despite the loss, St. Mary's showed resilience, pushing Legacy in each set.
Legacy now prepares to face Dickinson (11-18 overall) on November 4, while St. Mary's will travel to Minot North (12-17 overall) for a region play-in match.
