BISMARCK - Minot edged Bismarck Legacy 3-2 in a thrilling volleyball match on Thursday night, improving their record to 4-4 overall and 2-0 in the WDA. Legacy now stands at 2-6 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
Minot's Kynsli Gillmore led the way with 14 kills and added 21 digs, showcasing her all-around skills. Everett Deschamp contributed significantly with 13 kills and 18 digs, while McKenzie Dufner orchestrated the offense with 44 assists and added 17 digs.
For Legacy, Marlee Falcon was a standout performer with 12 kills and 6 digs. Brooklyn Pudwill and Sammy Watson each tallied 10 kills, with Pudwill also contributing 12 assists and 10 digs. Liz Lenhardt anchored the defense with 25 digs.
Minot will look to continue their winning streak against Williston on September 9, while Bismarck Legacy aims to bounce back against Jamestown on the same day.
