JAMESTOWN - Mandan edged out Jamestown 3-2 in a thrilling volleyball match on September 30, improving their record to 4-11 overall and 3-6 in the WDA. Jamestown now stands at 8-7 overall and 5-4 in the WDA.

Mandan was led by Allyson Holzer, who recorded 13 kills, and Kennedy Keller, who contributed 12 kills and 5 digs. Gabriele Frohlich orchestrated the offense with 31 assists and added 12 digs. Hadley Harris was a defensive standout with 33 digs.

For Jamestown, Lucy Falk delivered a powerful performance with 21 kills and 11 digs. Hannah Attleson provided 28 assists and 11 digs, while Jetta Peterson led the defense with 23 digs. Mari Anderson was a force at the net with 5 blocks.

Mandan will look to continue their momentum against Minot (7-2 WDA, 9-6 overall) on October 2, while Jamestown will aim to bounce back against Bismarck St. Mary's (1-8 WDA, 2-13 overall) on the same day.
