WILLISTON - Jamestown secured a 3-1 victory over Williston in a conference volleyball match on September 6, improving their record to 5-3 overall and 2-0 in the WDA, while Williston fell to 0-9 overall and 0-3 in the WDA.

Amelia Newman led Jamestown with 15 kills, contributing significantly to their offensive success. Lucy Falk added 13 kills and was also pivotal on defense with 19 digs and four service aces. Hannah Attleson orchestrated the offense with 23 assists, while Jetta Peterson anchored the defense with 31 digs.

For Williston, Tenasey Leisy, Chloee Stundal, and Averi Austreim each recorded nine kills, showcasing their offensive capabilities. Rylee Irgens excelled defensively with 33 digs, and Allison Wilcox contributed 18 assists and two service aces.

Jamestown will next face Bismarck Legacy, who are 1-1 in the WDA and 2-6 overall, on September 9. Williston will look to regroup as they prepare to take on Minot, who hold a 2-0 WDA record and are 4-4 overall, also on September 9.
