DICKINSON - Dickinson defeated Williston 3-1 in a conference volleyball match on Thursday night. Dickinson improved to 10-16 overall and 7-7 in the WDA, while Williston fell to 3-25 overall and 0-15 in the WDA.

Jenna Nelson led Dickinson with 20 kills, contributing significantly to the team's offensive success. Jersi Luchi added 10 kills and Lexi Bradley contributed 9 kills, showcasing a balanced attack. Jenna Zubke provided 27 assists, facilitating the offense effectively.

Defensively, Kaley Embry anchored the back row with 27 digs. Bradley also excelled with 18 digs, while Nelson added 11 digs, demonstrating strong defensive capabilities. Bradley also served 4 aces, adding pressure to Williston's reception.

The Mavericks snapped a four-match WDA losing streak with this victory. Dickinson will face Minot North (3-11 WDA, 10-16 overall) on October 25, while Williston will take on Bismarck Legacy (9-6 WDA, 15-12 overall) on October 28.
