DICKINSON - Dickinson defeated Bismarck St. Mary's 3-1 in a conference volleyball match, bringing their records to 6-7 overall and 5-2 in the WDA, while St. Mary's stands at 2-11 overall and 1-6 in the WDA.

Mataya Messer led St. Mary's with 16 kills and contributed 18 digs, showcasing her all-around skills. Ellie Dirk added 10 kills and 12 digs, while Sophia Schlinger provided 31 assists, orchestrating the offense effectively.

For Dickinson, Jenna Nelson was a standout with 15 kills and 18 digs. Emersyn Garr and Rubi Valencia combined for 35 assists, distributing the ball efficiently. Kaley Embry led the defense with 26 digs and added 3 service aces.

Next, Bismarck St. Mary's will face Bismarck Legacy on September 25, while Dickinson will take on Minot, also on September 25.
