DICKINSON - The Dickinson volleyball team secured a 3-1 victory over Minot North on September 6, improving their record to 2-6 overall and 1-1 in the WDA. Minot North now stands at 5-4 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
In a match where both teams displayed strong performances, Dickinson's Jenna Nelson led the way with 24 kills, contributing significantly to the home team's success. Lexi Bradley added 7 kills and 14 digs, showcasing her all-around skills on the court.
Minot North's Aven Kelly was a force at the net, recording 9 kills and 6 blocks. Defensively, Anistyn Perrin led with 12 digs, while Kate Weishaar contributed an impressive 23 digs and 5 assists.
Looking ahead, Minot North will face Bismarck, who holds a 2-0 record in the WDA and 6-2 overall, on September 9. Dickinson will take on Bismarck Century, currently undefeated at 8-0 overall and 2-0 in the conference, on the same day.
