BISMARCK - Bismarck Century defeated Bismarck Legacy 3-0 in a conference volleyball match, improving their record to 14-0 in the WDA and 25-1 overall, while Legacy fell to 8-6 in the WDA and 14-12 overall.
Century took control early, winning the first set 25-20. Alexis Heinle led the Patriots with 12 kills, supported by Sylvia Taylor's 9 kills. Abby Fosland orchestrated the offense with 25 assists.
Defensively, Century's Heinle also contributed with 3.5 blocks. Autumn Kilber anchored the back row with 10 digs. For Legacy, Cambree Volk led with 7 kills, while Bentley Solem added 22 assists and 5 digs.
Century will face Minot North (3-10 WDA, 10-15 overall) next, while Legacy looks to bounce back against Mandan (6-8 WDA, 9-18 overall) on October 23.
