BISMARCK - Bismarck Century continued its dominant season with a 3-0 victory over Mandan on October 7, maintaining an unbeaten record of 17-0 overall and 11-0 in the Western Dakota Association. Mandan now stands at 4-13 overall and 3-8 in the WDA.
Sylvia Taylor led Century with 11 kills, while Alexis Heinle contributed 10 kills and 1.5 blocks. Abby Fosland orchestrated the offense with 16 assists and added 6 digs. Parker Lutman was a force at the service line, delivering 4 aces.
Mandan's Jersey Hammes recorded 9 kills and 9 digs, showcasing her all-around skills. Gabriele Frohlich supported with 11 assists and 10 digs, and Hadley Harris led the defensive effort with 12 digs.
Century will face Bismarck St. Mary's (1-10 WDA, 2-15 overall) on October 9, while Mandan will look to bounce back against Williston (0-11 WDA, 0-17 overall) on the same date.
