BISMARCK - Bismarck Century defeated Bismarck Legacy 3-0 in a conference volleyball match on Tuesday night, improving their record to 11-0 overall and 5-0 in the WDA. Legacy fell to 3-8 overall and 2-3 in the WDA.
Sylvia Taylor led the Patriots with a commanding 20 kills, supported by Alexis Heinle and Abby Fosland, who each contributed 7 kills. Fosland also added 21 assists, while Norah Green chipped in with 19 assists, orchestrating a well-balanced Century attack.
Defensively, Kinley Pedersen was a standout with 18 digs, and Fosland contributed 11 digs. Heinle was a force at the net with 4 blocks, helping Century maintain control throughout the match.
Century will look to continue their unbeaten run against Minot North (1-5 WDA, 5-7 overall) on September 18, while Legacy will aim to bounce back against Mandan (2-2 WDA, 3-7 overall) on the same day.
