BISMARCK - Minot High defeated Bismarck High 3-1 in a conference volleyball match on October 21, improving to 17-10 overall and 11-3 in the WDA. Bismarck High's record now stands at 16-11 overall and 9-5 in the WDA.

Minot High was led by Everette Deschamp with 18 kills and Kynsli Gillmore with 15 kills. Mackenzie Dufner orchestrated the offense with 39 assists. Defensively, Camdyn Varty contributed significantly with 39 digs, while Dufner added 16 digs of her own.

Bismarck High's Dalena Aamot recorded 12 kills, supported by Jensen Hintz with 9 kills. Aspen Roaldson provided 29 assists, and Taylor Mayer led the defensive effort with 17 digs. Mayer also contributed with 2 service aces, matching the efforts of Rosalyn Brunelle and Roaldson.

Minot High will face Bismarck St. Mary's next on October 23, while Bismarck High is set to play Jamestown on the same date.
