BISMARCK - Bismarck Legacy edged Bismarck High in a thrilling five-set match, winning 3-2. Legacy improved to 9-9 overall and 8-4 in the WDA, while Bismarck's record stands at 12-6 overall and 8-4 in the conference.

Brooklyn Pudwill led Legacy with 14 kills and contributed 3 blocks, showcasing her all-around skills. Marlee Falcon added 13 kills and 3.5 blocks, while Bentley Solem orchestrated the offense with 38 assists and added 12 digs. Gracie Watson was pivotal on defense with 13 digs and also served an ace.

For Bismarck, Dalena Aamot and Rosalyn Brunelle each recorded 16 kills, with Aamot also contributing 2.5 blocks. Jordyn Rood added 10 kills, while Aspen Roaldson provided a match-high 51 assists. Taylor Mayer led the defensive effort with 23 digs.

Legacy will face West Fargo Horace (5-2 overall) on October 10, while Bismarck looks to rebound against Valley City on the same day.
