MINOT - Bismarck High secured a 3-1 victory over Minot High in a conference volleyball match on September 16, improving their record to 8-3 overall and 4-1 in the WDA. Minot High now stands at 6-5 overall and 4-1 in the WDA.

Jordyn Rood and Jensen Hintz led Bismarck with 12 kills each, while Rosalyn Brunelle added 11 kills and 3 service aces. Aspen Roaldson was pivotal with 41 assists and contributed 14 digs, showcasing a strong all-around performance.

Minot's Kynsli Gillmore was a standout with 17 kills and 13 digs. Everette Deschamp added 11 kills and 15 digs, supported by Mackenzie Dufner's 45 assists. Despite a strong start, Minot dropped the second set narrowly at 25-23, which shifted the match momentum.

Bismarck will face Jamestown (4-1 WDA, 7-4 overall) on September 18, while Minot will host Bismarck St. Mary's (1-4 WDA, 2-9 overall) on the same day.
