WATFORD CITY - Devils Lake edged out Watford City in a thrilling 43-36 victory on Friday night, improving their record to 5-1 in the Western Dakota Association and 8-2 overall. Watford City fell to 2-4 in the WDA and 4-6 overall.
Devils Lake's Mason Palmer was instrumental in the win, completing 12 of 18 passes for 224 yards and one touchdown. Palmer also contributed on the ground with 13 rushing yards and a touchdown. Bryar Exner was a standout performer, rushing for 180 yards on 25 carries and scoring three touchdowns, showcasing his versatility with a 7.16 yards per carry average.
