FARGO - Minot North defeated Fargo South 28-7 in a non-conference matchup on Friday night, improving to 2-0 on the season while Fargo South fell to 1-1.
Minot North's ground game was led by Evan Berg, who rushed for 54 yards on 11 carries and scored two touchdowns. Braxton Thompson added an 18-yard touchdown run, contributing to the team's total of 229 rushing yards.
Quarterback Brayden Blikre completed 7 of 16 passes for 104 yards. Cam Jesz was the leading receiver with 59 yards on three catches. Minot North's defense was dominant, forcing seven turnovers, including two interceptions by Josia Jaquinet.
