MINOT - Minot North maintained its unbeaten record with a commanding 49-14 victory over Jamestown, improving to 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the Western Dakota Association. Jamestown fell to 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the conference.
Minot North's rushing attack was relentless, led by Cooper Chick's 107 yards on 13 carries, including a 1-yard touchdown run. Christian Deadmond added two touchdowns on the ground, rushing for 36 yards on four carries. The Sentinels built a 42-0 lead by halftime, showcasing their offensive prowess.
Defensively, Minot North was anchored by Jesse Vetter, who recorded four tackles. Evan Berg contributed with three tackles and four assisted tackles, helping to stifle Jamestown's offense for much of the game.
With this victory, Minot North clinched a share of the West Region title and secured the top seed for the upcoming AA playoffs.
