DICKINSON - Bismarck St. Mary's edged out Dickinson 24-21 in a thrilling conference matchup, with both teams now holding a 1-2 record in the Western Dakota Association and an overall record of 2-5.
St. Mary's jumped to an early lead with a 45-yard touchdown run by Beckett Price, who amassed 113 yards on 19 carries. The team extended their advantage with a 25-yard touchdown pass from Tommy Wilson to Jacoby Grimm, and a 30-yard punt block return by Joe Tamisiea.
Dickinson responded strongly in the second quarter, tying the game with three consecutive touchdowns, including two runs by Nathan Stevenson. However, St. Mary's secured the win with a last-second 31-yard field goal by Asher Coghlan.
With this victory, St. Mary's maintains its winning streak against Dickinson, having won the last four meetings between the teams.
