BISMARCK - The Kindred Vikings defeated Bismarck St. Mary's 34-7 on Friday night, improving to 3-0 overall, while the Saints fell to 0-3.
Kindred's offense was led by Myles Thielges, who opened the scoring with a 7-yard touchdown run, followed by a 2-yard touchdown reception from Gabe Whipple. Whipple also connected with Lukas Starcevic for a 1-yard touchdown pass, contributing to the Vikings' dominant first half.
Sawyer Hesse added to the scoring with two rushing touchdowns, including a 6-yard and a 2-yard run. Graham Hesse was reliable on extra points, converting three out of four attempts, helping Kindred build a commanding lead by halftime.
Bismarck St. Mary's Zach Ritter scored the team's lone touchdown with a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter, as the Saints attempted to rally late in the game.
