FARGO - Fargo Shanley continued their undefeated streak with a commanding 54-34 victory over Minot High on Friday night, improving to 4-0 overall while Minot fell to 0-4.
Fargo Shanley capitalized on a balanced offensive attack, with Jax Mattern leading the charge with two rushing touchdowns, including an 8-yard score in the first quarter. Mattern also connected with Jake Kraft for a 48-yard touchdown pass, showcasing a versatile offensive performance.
Minot High's Ryder Sutton displayed impressive passing skills, throwing for 340 yards and three touchdowns. Sutton connected twice with Tariq Bell for touchdowns, including a pivotal 11-yard pass in the first half. Despite Sutton's efforts, Minot's defense struggled to contain Fargo Shanley's potent rushing attack, led by John Eaton's three touchdowns.
Fargo Shanley remains the only unbeaten AAA team, demonstrating their strength in both offensive and defensive plays. Minot will look to regroup as they continue their search for a first win.
