FARGO - Fargo Davies opened their season with a commanding 42-14 victory over Minot High on Friday night, improving to 1-0 overall while Minot fell to 0-1.

The Eagles dominated early, racing to a 42-0 halftime lead. Xavier Muse led the charge with two explosive touchdown runs, including a 75-yarder. Henry Hart and Ryland Fischer each added rushing scores, contributing to Fargo Davies' potent ground attack.

Minot High found some rhythm in the fourth quarter with Ryder Sutton scoring a 6-yard touchdown run and Kayson Mello adding an 8-yard score. Sutton also led Minot's rushing efforts with 81 yards on 5 carries.

With this win, Fargo Davies continues their winning streak against Minot, marking their third consecutive victory in this matchup.
