WEST FARGO - In a thrilling non-conference matchup, Bismarck Legacy edged out West Fargo 28-27, improving to 2-0 overall while keeping West Fargo winless at 0-2.
Legacy's Yusuf Jama was a standout performer, rushing for 154 yards on 24 carries and scoring two crucial touchdowns. Jama's 20-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, followed by a successful kick from Sam Fricke, sealed the victory for Legacy. Quarterback Brody Weigel also contributed significantly, completing 7 of 12 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown.
