Girls Golf: Legacy Invite

BISMARCK - Legacy had three golfers post scores of 84 or better, including medalist honors by eighth grader Hailey Olson, as the squad won its home meet on Tuesday, Aug. 25 at Riverwood G.C. It was the third consecutive WDA tournament title for the Sabers. Olson, who shot an 81, became the second Legacy player win a tournament this season, joining Rawni Roemmich. Mandan was a distant second while Watford City was third. The course will also host the West Region and Class A tournaments later this season. The highlight of the day belonged to Bismarck St. Mary's Addie Zimmerman. The junior recorded a hole-in-one on the Par 3 14th hole. She used an eight-iron off the tee. Six teams had at least one golfer finish in the top 10.
