Girls Golf: TMCHS Invitational
Event Recap
BISMARCK - Mandan captured the team title at the season-opening TMCHS Invite on Aug. 14 at the Rolla G.C. The Braves' 364, edging out Legacy by six strokes.
Team standings saw Mandan in first, followed by Legacy in second with 370, and Watford City in third with 393. Century placed fourth with a score of 396, while Minot High finished fifth at 404.
Junior Izzy Hale of Mandan was the medalist with a score of 80. Rawni Roemmich from Legacy finished second with 82 and Ashlen Larsen of Century took third with 84. Four golfers from Mandan finished in the top 10. Six teams had a least one golfer in the top 10. The course proved challenging, and scores were high, as a result of the tight layout which featured plenty of trees and tough pin placements.
