Girls Golf: Class A Tournament
Event Recap
FARGO - The Class A Girls Golf Tournament took place on September 29-30 at Fargo Country Club. WF Sheyenne claimed the championship with a total score of 595, followed by Mandan with 636.
In the team standings, G.F. Red River placed third with a score of 641, while Fargo Shanley finished fourth at 649. Century and St. Mary's rounded out the top 10, finishing in 10th and 9th places, respectively.
Zoe Keene of WF Sheyenne was the individual medalist with a score of 141, winning in a playoff against Rose Solberg of Fargo Davies, who also scored 141. Other top finishers included Alexis Fabian and Ella Speidel from G.F. Red River, both with scores of 148.
The tournament showcased strong performances from WDA schools, with Izzy Hale of Mandan and Lola Huber of St. Mary's earning all-state tournament honors. The weather was pleasant and mostly sunny throughout the event.
