Team of the Week: Mandan
The Braves fell just one match short of defending their state title. Nevertheless, it was a successful postseason run for the Mandan program. It opened the state tournament with a 1-0 victory over Fargo Davies and then rallied from a one-goal deficit to top Red River, 5-3, in the semifinals before falling to Shanley, 3-0, in the title. The Braves finished the season 17-1-1.
