Minot North defeats West Fargo, 4-1

WEST FARGO - Minot North's singles looked strong, winning all three matches en route to a 4-1 victory over West Fargo in a WDA-EDC crossover on Sept. 10. The Sentinels improved their record to 1-2 in the WDA and 7-4 overall.
North was paced by freshman Colton Griffith at No. 1 singles. The sophomore did not drop a game. Lucas Griffith also was sharp at No. 2 singles with a straight-set victory. Not to be outdone was freshman Mascen Knittel, who won in straight sets. Doubles play included a solid performance by freshman Brayden Callahan and junior Reece Blikre.
The Packers got a win at No. 2 doubles, rallying for a three-win triumph.
Minot North looks to continue their momentum as they face West Fargo Horace.
